The Malecon, Havana's 8km-long sea drive, is the city's most traveled thoroughfare. Classic cars buzz up and down this road and you can view the most spectacular sunsets from this boulevard. The Malecon was laid out in the early 1900's and in the 1950's became a major 6-lane highway.
