Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I love old buildings and the history that they hold, the stories that they have created, and the lives they have touched. This building was known as the Scheuffele building and owned by my dad since the 70's. The Abstract of Title started in 1913. My dad loved his buildings but knew that this one was in disrepair and was at the end of its life. As a photographer who has a deep love for buildings of the past, it pained me to see this building go but know that it's the best for the community of Baker and so did our dad. With this photograph -- the memory lives on!
