A beautiful wild mustang grazing in an open field on the top of the Pryor Mountains on the Wyoming/Montana borders - The Pryor Mountain Wild Horses really are descendents of Spanish horses. They are a type of horse today known as the Colonial Spanish Horse or the Spanish Mustang, which is considered a rare and endangered breed.
